Spam and Scam emails get serious

Scams are part and parcel of the Internet, we are used to spam and scam emails now, we delete them without thought, and pay no attention to them like the adverts between our favourite programmes on TV and the ads on websites.
Spam filters work hard and try their best to remove the garbage from our inbox, unfortunately spammers and scammers learn the ways of the filters to prevent their emails from being trashed.
The new wave of scam and spam is the phishing scam to get control of your email account or web servers, once they have control of these they can use your domain to send more spam and scam emails.
Anyone who runs a website should understand their support system and know who is responsible for supporting their domain and servers, what email address is used when dealing with support issues.
You should only ever accept support emails from those email addresses you recognise as real support emails, and never accept what the email states, always contact your support directly either by phone or via your email support direct contact address to confirm what any email has told you.
Most scam or spam support emails will use an administrator @ yourdomain.com or similar as they know nothing of your web hosting company and usually this would not be the email being used by your support company.
Below is an email that I received this morning and I have now been told by several clients they too have received similar emails.
Beware as if you follow links in the email you will be asked for specific information regarding your account and if you fill these forms in your domain security will be compromised.
All support services would rather you contact them to confirm the details than to have to deal with the clean up after the problems arise from believing the emails.
When reading this email notice the bad English, the bad grammar and the dodgy link to a dodgy website that has nothing to do with the domain in question or the hosting company being used.
