Just had some guy, called himself James Wilkinson, phone me from Websolve international explaining that he had a client wanting to register my domains, now I have .com, .co.uk and .net but heis client apparently wanted to register .org, .info and .eu which i did not have.
I asked him several times what he wanted from me and why he was telling me this and he said it was just a concern they had about this client wanting my domains and they thought I should know and all he wanted form me was my name and confirmation that I did not want those domains.
This smells like a scam and so while I spoke to "James" I registered the domains for a total of £30.00 and they are now pointing at my domain.
If someone phones you and tells you about domains being registered by someone else then be wary, phone Dr Adept and we can register your domains on your behalf for a fraction of the cost that these companies are asking for.
If someone does end up registering your company domain names and using them illegally then you have a chance of recovering them without any charge and they will lose out as they will have to transfer ownership to you at their cost.
Talk to DR Adept about it if you have this problem.... |
