Changes Coming to the Search Results
Google have just reported changes being rolled out in the USA today, which will come to the UK in coming months.

Google reported:
A common annoyance for web users is when websites require browser technologies that are not supported by their device (phone, tablet, laptop).  When users access such pages, they may see nothing but a blank space or miss out a large portion of the page's contents.

Starting today in our English search results in the US, we will indicate to searchers when our algorithms detect pages that may not work on their devices.  For example, Adobe Flash is not supported on iOS devices or on Android versions 4.1 and higher, and a page whose contents are mostly Flash may be noted like this:

If you don't already have a dynamic responsive website that is able to change depending on the device being used, now is the time to get this sorted out.

In future people are going to be told in the search results that your website may not work on their device which could lead to them not even bothering to click onto your website from the search engine results when they are using a mobile device.
