Benefits of blogging

Recently we were asked by a client if blogging was actually worth doing, so we thought we'd let you know why blogging is so important in 2020.

When we publish an article we see huge spikes in traffic and an increase in links to a website over a couple of days.  The impact of this helps a website get found for more keywords and helped the sites to climb the search engine rankings faster.

One article on our own website generated 60,000 inbound links.  We were also invited to write an article for a well know industry leader in SEO, that one link from an industry leader propelled our website from position 5 straight to position 1 for many years.

Social Media Tip


Ask your employees, friends and family to follow all of your companies social media accounts (remember to tell friends and family to be professional).  When they see your content they will need to leave long comments, tag their friends and share your post, which means you'll get seen by all their connections in social media who may then go on to share your content.  The more popular you are the more Facebook will reward you by letting you get seen before others.
