When editing a product in the e-commerce section, select the Options tab.

If you have created options for any other products this will show a drop down menu allowing you to copy options from another product.

Click the [+ CREATE NEW] button to create a new option.

This opens a window for adding options.

First identify the type of option, type your option category name or select from the current options available; (Colour, Size, Material, Style, etc.)

Give the option a unique name; Red, Blue, Large, XL, L, Small, S, Smooth, Rough, etc. 

There are fields to allow you to add pricing and stock levels.

If supplying a price you can choose to add, subtract or replace to the original product details.

If you have a different image then you can attach the image using the media manager icon.  When uploading images it is best to store them in a folder associated with the product or category to ensure they are easy to find later.

The order field allows you to set which order the options will appear in, ignore this for now as you can easily use a drag and drop to sort them later.

Click the [+ CREATE] or [SAVE] button.

This will add the option and allow you to carry on updating the details without exiting.

If you have several options, ie.  Red, Green and Blue, then first create the Red option and click [+CREATE] then just change the name field to Green and click [+ CREATE] then Blue and click [+ CREATE]

You should quickly be able to create all your options without clicking the main update button.
